Teaching Notes
Teach each pair separately before mixing. For they're/their/there: substitute 'they are' — if it fits, use they're. For you're/your: substitute 'you are' — if it fits, use you're.
Vocabulary
they're: Contraction for 'they are'.
their: Shows possession; belonging to them.
there: Indicates a place or existence.
Common Mistakes
- Writing 'there' for 'their' possession
- Writing 'your' when 'you are' is meant
Differentiation
